Methodology
The Pre-primary section creates a supportive environment for children to grow by stimulating their various learning abilities. We focus on the developmental stages of children, helping them explore and understand their surroundings through human, social, and cultural interactions. By encouraging observation, investigation, and experimentation, we help kids build attitudes and skills they’ll use throughout life. Our curriculum is designed to nurture each child’s natural potential across all areas of growth. Progress is shared via term-wise reports and portfolios.
The Pre-primary section adopts a continuous observation approach to track the progress of each child, focusing on their developmental milestones. Educators carefully monitor and document every child’s conceptual knowledge, physical, mental, and emotional growth. Our program is designed to maintain a balance between a child’s overall development and the curriculum content. The term-wise cumulative observations are presented through a Progress Report and Portfolio.
Infrastructure
School infrastructure plays a vital role for child’s growth. The Pre – Primary Section has a child friendly space surrounded by green shady trees and interspersed with playground, open air theatre and areas for outdoor activities.
A spacious, thoughtfully designed quadrangle provides the perfect setting for large groups of children to come together for regular assemblies. These activities include morning prayers, exercises, and engaging presentations by both students and teachers, fostering unity and collaboration.
Reading Zone
Our spacious and welcoming Reading Room is thoughtfully designed to nurture emergent literacy behaviours and pre-reading skills in children. With a collection of over 16,000 books for both children and teachers, it offers a rich literary environment to spark curiosity and enhance knowledge. The collection is regularly updated with new titles to keep the experience fresh and engaging.
The Computer Lab is a key resource for both teachers and students, supporting their teaching and learning processes with essential technological tools. We regularly update with educational software to boost learning outcomes and give an extra edge to the curriculum.
These dedicated rooms allow children to explore dance and music freely, encouraging self-expression and creativity. The activities promote gross motor development, rhythm, and spatial awareness while fostering a love for melody and movement.
The Toy Room is filled with building blocks, toys, Montessori tools, and instructional kits designed to boost kids’ hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and more. It’s a space where play nurtures skill development.
Equipped with a computer, LCD projector, mega screen, educational CDs, and multimedia tools, the Audio-Visual Room offers an immersive space for engaging visual and auditory learning experiences.
The fully equipped Art Room provides children with the perfect space to explore their imagination, nurture creative thinking, and refine their fine motor skills.
Our vibrant outdoor play spaces feature a variety of equipment, including slides, climbing structures, and a sandpit, offering endless opportunities for kids to play and explore. The sensory path enhances essential sensory input, providing a stimulating and engaging experience for children at this developmental stage.
Bright, spacious, and well-ventilated, our classrooms feature child-friendly furniture and a vibrant, colourful atmosphere designed to inspire young minds.
Welfare
The entire premises is monitored through CCTV surveillance to ensure a secure environment.
Proper nourishment is essential for every growing child to thrive. Our clean, well-equipped kitchen prepares a variety of wholesome, nutritious meals, introducing children to seasonal fruits and vegetables. Dining together with peers, under the guidance of teachers, fosters healthy eating habits and encourages even the fussiest eaters to enjoy their meals.
Led by a trained counsellor, the school’s counselling centre caters to the emotional, social, and academic needs of students, staff, and parents. It also oversees the teacher development program, focusing on improving teaching skills and refining classroom management strategies.
The First Aid Centre, staffed by a full-time nurse, is equipped to handle minor injuries and physical concerns during school hours. For additional support, the school has partnered with a nearby doctor who can be consulted when necessary. Parents are promptly informed in case of any medical emergencies.
